This policy explains what information Volturi and Fox Creek Performance Horses (“we”, “us”) collect through volturi.net, why we collect it, and the choices you have. What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email, phone number, your mare’s name and your message.
- Breeding contracts. When you complete a contract online we receive what the contract asks for: your name, address, phone and email, your mare’s name, registrations and details, your choices in the contract, your initials and your signature, and the date and time you signed.
- Payments. Card, PayPal and Venmo payments are handled by those payment companies on their own secure systems. Your full card number is never sent to or stored on volturi.net. We receive a confirmation, the amount, and the last four digits and brand of the card so we can match the payment to your contract.
- Basic site data. Like most websites, our host and security tools log your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working. We use Google Site Kit to see overall visitor counts.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and manage your breeding, semen shipments, breeder’s certificates and foal records.
- To send you a copy of your signed contract and receipts.
- To keep records the law, the breed associations or our tax obligations require.
- To protect the site from spam and attacks.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to carry out your breeding (for example your veterinarian, FedEx, or a breed association when registering a foal), to process a payment, or when the law requires it.
Who can see your contract
Signed contracts are emailed to you and to heidi@volturi.net. Copies kept on the website are stored outside the public part of the site, are never shown to other visitors, and can only be opened by the site owner while signed in. One mare owner can never see another mare owner’s contract or payment details.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies it needs to work and stay secure, plus Google’s analytics cookies through Site Kit. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Contracts and payment records are kept for seven years for tax and breed association purposes. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to help you. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing heidi@volturi.net. We will answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
